A2 Blog-Week 5

This past week was a rough start for me. I felt under the weather and didn't have the ability to focus on my schoolwork leading me to disappointment. I started falling behind with my assignments and that's a bad thing. I need to remain focused now that I feel much better and pay closer attention to my syllabus. Hopefully I can catch up with my courses and manage my schedule.

A2 Blog-Week4

As I move on to week 4 in IS101, I feel that I am finally starting to grasp the information that I am learning in this course. I have just finished my first exam and it was quite tough for me because I always seem to get test anxiety and I can't think properly. I am just glad that I got the chance to pull through it even though I struggled to remember the definitions to the questions. Now it has passed and it is time for me to move on and get ready for the next one.

A2 Blog-Week 3

This week seemed to be a struggle for me as I am trying to manage studying for all three courses,  preparing for exams, working a full time job, and making time for my daughter's school activities.
It's exhausting! As I am writing on my blog, I feel the desperation of sleep but I can't let it stop me from writing this post. I am eager to learn more in IS101 and I feel it has been helping me to understand more about technology. I am finally grasping the basics of computer from this course and I know it will be very useful.

A2 Blog-Week 2

While I continue on with IS101, I am starting to have a better understanding of the digital world. I think doing the McGraw Hill interactive learning online is helping me to gain some knowledge. Before coming to this course, I didn't know what the definition of URL is or that there are different types of cookies. I always thought there was only one type of cookies.

As this course continues on for me, I know that I will eventually be able to use the computer more efficiently than before. I can't wait until the next class on Saturday as I feel I will be able to apply more hands on learning.

IS101-First Assignment

As a first time IS101 student, I am realizing that using the computer for digital literacy is tough because of the lack of computer skills that I acquire. Although this may be a little more intense for me than others, I am still going to continue on the journey as I do my best to succeed in this course even if it takes me longer than it should. This first assignment gave me an eye opener to the digital literacy world. Being able to learn how to start this blog and to use professional business etiquette when sending emails and while using the world wide web to perform daily tasks as well as communicating with others in a professional manner. I hope that this course will give me a better understanding to the digital world and the knowledge that I need to succeed.
